LINES HURT

Sometimes, those beautiful lines that are supposed to touch your heart can instead injure. It's a confusing thing, how emotions can be both healed and hurt by the very same instrument. Perhaps it's because honesty often comes wrapped in a cloak of poetry. Or maybe it's just that sensitivity makes us prone to suffering, no matter how kind the sende
